Style S-5400 Male Threaded Sight Window
The Style S-5400 uses a male NPT connection that threads into a compatible process opening. Available connection sizes range from 1 to 3 inches.
The standard S-5400 design uses two borosilicate windows, two fiber cushions, and two seal gaskets. It carries a 150 psig pressure rating across the listed temperature range of -20°F to 500°F. This rating applies to the carbon steel and 316 stainless steel models shown in the drawing.
Standard body material options include carbon steel, 316 stainless steel, and brass. Optional alloys are available upon request. Brass retainers come standard, while 316 stainless steel retainers are also available.
Style S-5100 Female Threaded Sight Window
The Style S-5100 threads onto the end of a pipe and allows viewing from any installation position. Available sizes range from 1 to 6 inches.
