Reliable 0–100% LEL Combustible Gas Detection
The SC310 is built for fixed combustible gas monitoring where early and dependable detection of flammable gas hazards is critical. Its catalytic bead sensing technology provides %LEL measurement across a 0–100% LEL range, making it suitable for industrial facilities that need continuous monitoring for combustible gas leaks.
Detects Hydrocarbon and Non-Hydrocarbon Combustible Gases
Unlike gas-specific detectors that are limited to a narrower target gas, the SC310 offers a non-selective response to a broad range of combustible gases. It can detect common industrial gases such as methane, propane, n-butane, isobutylene, hydrogen, ethane, pentane, hexane, heptane, ethylene, and propylene.
SensorGuard Protection for Longer Sensor Life
The SC310 includes SensorGuard technology, which helps protect the sensor from oversaturation when gas concentrations exceed 100% LEL. Long-Range Sensor Separation
The SC310 supports sensor separation of up to 2,000 feet / 600 metres using 18 AWG cabling. This provides added flexibility for installations where the sensor must be positioned at the detection point while the transmitter or controller is installed in a more accessible or practical location.
Strong Performance and Fast Response
The SC310 is designed with quick response times, repeatable readings, and stable accuracy for combustible gas detection. With a T90 response time of 12 seconds or less, the sensor supports timely detection in safety-critical applications where fast awareness of gas hazards matters.
Accessories for Field Installation
Available accessories include termination boxes, calibration cup/rain shield/splash guard/dust filter options, inline calibration adaptors, and IP66/67 filters for enhanced protection from dirt and moisture.
