• Prismatic (Reflex) Water Gage Glasses
  Reliance prismatic, or reflex, water gages use a series of precision‑cut prisms on the inside surface of the glass. Light passing through these prisms is either totally reflected in the steam space or transmitted through the liquid, creating a sharp black‑and‑white image of the water level
  This prismatic principle makes the water line easy to distinguish without the need for external lighting.Key features of the prismatic gage line include:

• • Distinct, easy‑to‑read display – reflex prisms provide a clear, unambiguous image of the water level, reducing reading errors
  • Versatile installation – gages can be mounted vertically or on Tiltview™ assemblies and are available in multiple sections to extend the viewing area
  • Two pressure ratings – “C” types are rated for boilers up to 250 psi and “S” types up to 350 psi Typical applications include boiler drums, feedwater heaters, deaerators and storage tanks.

The illuminator attaches directly to any FG Series gage without tools and uses three columns of directed amber LEDs to create a bright, star‑like image of the water line.Benefits of DuraStar illumination include:
