Linear and Repeatable Mass Flow Measurement
The PFS TCM Series Coriolis Flow Meter supports stable mass flow measurement for liquids and gases. Most models provide liquid linearity of ±0.1% of flow rate. The TCM230K provides liquid linearity of ±0.15% of flow rate. For gas applications, the series provides linearity of ±0.5% of flow rate.
Repeatability also supports dependable process measurement. The TCM Coriolis Flow Meter provides repeatability of ±0.05% of flow rate for liquids. It also provides repeatability of ±0.25% of flow rate for gases. As a result, the series suits applications that require consistent measurement performance.
Multiple Model Sizes for Flow Range Flexibility
The TCM Series offers several model sizes to match different process requirements. Maximum flow rates range from 325 kg/hr on the TCM0325 to 230,000 kg/hr on the TCM230K. This range helps customers choose a meter based on line size, operating flow rate, and process demand.
Smaller models suit lower-flow process lines. Larger flanged models support higher-capacity measurement applications. Additionally, Westech can help review application details before selection.
Temperature, Pressure, and Density Capability
The TCM Coriolis Flow Meter supports a standard process temperature range from -40°F to 212°F. Optional configurations extend that range from -76°F to 392°F. The series also supports density measurement up to 2,500 kg/m3.
Pressure ratings vary by model. The TCM0325, TCM0650, TCM1550, and TCM3100 offer ratings of 2,900 psi. The TCM7900, TCM028K, TCM065K, and TCM230K offer ratings of 1,450 psi. Consequently, the series can support a broad range of process conditions.
Integration-Friendly Electronics
The TCM Series includes electronics for common industrial control systems. Power supply options include 24 V DC ±20% or 90 to 264 V AC. Output options include analog, frequency, pulse, and status.
The series also supports RS485 RTU with Modbus and HART® interfaces. Cable gland options include M20 and 1/2” NPT. Therefore, the meter can integrate into many existing process control systems.
Compact and Remote Configurations
Many TCM Series models offer compact and remote configurations. Compact models include a meter mount in an aluminum diecast housing. Remote models include a junction box and remote field mount transmitter.
This flexibility helps customers place the transmitter where visibility, access, or installation layout matters most. It also supports packaged systems and custom assemblies.
Stainless Steel Construction
The TCM Series uses 316L stainless steel tubes and cases. Depending on the model, the flow splitter uses 316L stainless steel or CF3M. Select models also include BNi-2 brazing alloy.
This construction supports compatibility with many industrial liquid and gas applications. However, customers should always review material compatibility before selecting a meter.
