🔥 Boiling Fluids
Temperature differentials between the vessel and indicator chamber can cause fluid boiling, leading to float instability or sinking. The FlashProof™ design eliminates this issue by allowing entrained gases to safely escape via an oversized 3″ Schedule 40 pipe with dual guide rods.

💨 Flashing Vapours
Rapid depressurization can create flashing conditions that drive the float violently upward, often damaging the chamber or crushing the float. FlashProof™ technology manages these pressure transitions, protecting the float and maintaining measurement integrity.

💧 Dirty or Viscous Service
When solids like wax, sludge, or debris are present, traditional gages can bind, leading to false static readings. The oversized chamber in the FlashProof™ model provides enough clearance to prevent float binding and includes a bypass zone that allows flushing without removing the float—reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
